Our Strategy

Live Mapping for Congestion Management: BMP’s digital app incorporated live mapping features that provided real-time information on slope congestion. Users could access dynamic maps displaying crowded areas, helping them make informed decisions about where to ski and when.


Out-of-Bounds Warnings for Litigation Management: The app included built-in out-of-bounds warnings to address litigation concerns. Geofencing technology was utilised to alert users when nearing restricted or dangerous areas, minimising the risk of accidents and potential legal issues.


Avalanche Search Beacons for Mountain Safety: Recognising the importance of on-mountain safety, the app integrated avalanche search beacons. In the event of an avalanche, users could activate the search beacon feature to send distress signals, aiding rescue teams in locating and assisting those in need.


User-Friendly Interface: BMP focused on creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface, ensuring that even novice users could easily navigate the app. This included features such as customisable preferences, real-time weather updates, and emergency contact integration.


Integration with Resort Services: The app seamlessly integrates with resort services, allowing users to access information on lift statuses, ski school schedules, and resort amenities. This comprehensive approach aimed to enhance the overall experience beyond safety features.
